Welcome to WinklyBooks. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, bookstore storefront catalogue, manuscript submission systems, and crowdsourced co-authorship slot reservation services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. Intellectual Property & Submissions
When you submit a manuscript (whether through our Single Author manuscript application or the Collaborative group author spots), you retain underlying copyright of your original work. However, you grant WinklyBooks/EsalePub a royalty-free license to format, print, distribute, and register your book globally under international standard ISBN guidelines.
2. Collaborative Co-Authorship Slots
WinklyBooks offers collaborative crowdsourced textbook projects where a book's segments are partitioned into four slots.
- Slots are claimed in real-time on a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) basis.
- Claiming a slot requires immediate payment of the co-author reservation fee.
- Payments are processed securely via Razorpay payment gateway integration.
- Upon confirmation, you secure formatting, indexing, and publication rights for your allocated slot.
3. Bookstore Transactions
We process all physical textbook retail orders through local bookstore logistics.
- Cash On Delivery (COD) and Online Payments (via Razorpay) are supported.
- Orders are assigned a unique tracking ID format (e.g.
WNK-2026-XXXXX). - Once dispatched, we provide India Post parcel logistics reference tracking codes.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
Due to the nature of dynamic slot reservations and immediate ISBN publishing queue processing, co-author slot booking fee payments are non-refundable once the allocation is confirmed. Bookstore storefront product orders can be cancelled or returned within 7 days of delivery only in the case of manufacturing defect prints.
5. Limitation of Liability
WinklyBooks/EsalePub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the services or any materials on the platform.
